We will start our private trip with a picturesque drive towards the magnificent Atlas Mountains, stopping first at the little town of Ifrane. We will get the chance to investigate the well-known cedar woodland here, which is well-known for housing the interesting Berber apes.
We continue our drive across the spectacular Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass, which offers amazing views, and the breathtaking Ziz Gorge, where we may stop to take unforgettable pictures and have some cool local mint tea. We will arrive in Midelt, a charming hamlet tucked away among the mountains, as we continue.
Moving further with our journey, we will go towards Merzouga, which serves as the entrance to the captivating Sahara Desert. After arriving, we will have a delicious supper and a unique evening in a nearby riad, where we can fully experience the genuine atmosphere of the desert.
Today, we will go on with our excursion by exploring the fascinating desert area that encircles the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Get ready to be mesmerized by the striking contrast of the desert scenery and the nomadic way of life. We'll start our journey at the enchanted black town of Khamlia, where we may lose ourselves in the captivating rhythms of Gnawa music.
In the historic city of Rissani, we will have a delicious traditional Berber pizza for lunch and experience the tastes of regional food. Later in the afternoon, we'll have a memorable camelback ride over the dunes and see the magnificent sunset set over the wide horizon.
When we get to our desert camp, the night looks like it will be fantastic. We'll have a delectable traditional Tagine meal along with a delightful cup of mint tea from the area. As we get together around a campfire in the breathtaking Sahara desert, we'll be serenaded by traditional Berber music and look up at the stars and rising moon. Get ready for an incredible journey that will remain ingrained in your mind forever.
We will sleep well in the desert tent and then get up and go to a neighboring motel. You may take use of this place to refuel for the day by getting a free meal and changing clothes. Before moving on to Ouarzazate, we stop along the road to fully immerse ourselves in the rich cultural legacy of the Berber settlements.
We will marvel at the breathtaking natural beauty of the intriguing Todra and Dades Gorge as we explore them. We will stop at a quaint local hotel as we approach the Dades Gorge, where we will stay the night. A delicious complementary meal will be served to you so you can enjoy the local delicacies and relax in the peaceful atmosphere of the gorge environs.
After a delicious breakfast, we will travel via the famous "Path of a Thousand Kasbahs" (fortresses) on our way to Ouarzazate. We will stop in Kalaat Mgouna, the bustling hub of the Valley of Roses and home to the well-known yearly Rose Festival, along route.
As we go, we will arrive to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This amazing stronghold has become well-known worldwide as the shooting site for several Hollywood productions, including as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia.
The journey to the enchanted city of Marrakesh will next take us across the breathtaking Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass, which offers breathtaking vistas. We will stay the night at a charming local hotel here, so you can relax and take in everything that this energetic city has to offer.
This day is dedicated to seeing Marrakesh and will be spent totally learning about the major sights in the city. Taking in the lively ambiance of Jamma el Fna plaza, a hive of activity, will be our first step. We'll also include a trip to the well-known Koutoubia Mosque and the fascinating souks, where you can go shopping the old-fashioned way.
As we continue our journey, we will visit the Royal Palace to learn more about the royal past of the city. We will make visits at a number of institutions that highlight Marrakesh's artistic and historical legacy for those looking to expand their cultural horizons.
We will tour Gueliz, a district that skillfully combines modern influences with old charm, to get a taste of the city's modern side. This includes trips to the lively Marjolle neighborhood and the lovely Menara Gardens.
We will end our amazing trip by leaving you off at your hotel or the airport, making sure your exit from this fascinating city goes well.
