Your trip of Tangier will begin with a pick-up from the ferry terminal or the airport. You have arrived at the enchanting hamlet of Chefchaouen, which is located at the foot of the Rif mountains. Spend an unforgettable night in Chefchaouen, soaking in the town's one-of-a-kind vibe when you stay there for the night.
Following a lovely breakfast at your Riad, you will set off on an adventurous adventure in the direction of Volubilis. Along the route, take in the charming Rif settlements and the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding countryside. Discover the fascinating Roman remains of Volubilis and obtain new perspectives on Morocco's long and illustrious past. Keep driving until you reach Meknes, a city that is famous for its legacy dating back to the 17th century, where you will have a fantastic lunch. Explore the fascinating historical sites of the Medina in the afternoon, such as the imposing Bab el Mansour and the famous Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After you've wrapped up your day's activities, make your way to Fes, where you'll spend the night and take in the pulsating atmosphere of the city.
The goal for today is to completely immerse yourself in the illustrious past and lively culture of Fes, Morocco's oldest city. The Medina of Fes is a fascinating place to explore, and you can do it with the assistance of a competent local guide. Start your tour by taking in the splendor of the Royal Palace entrance and then go to the ancient Jewish district, which was the location of the very first Mellah ever built. Dive further into the winding lanes, towering walls, and busy souks of the Medina, and let yourself get engulfed in the Medina's wonderful ambiance. Take a break for a delicious meal at one of the area's restaurants.
Continue your journey across Morocco by paying a visit to some of the country's most illustrious sites, such as the well-known tanneries of Fes, the elegant Bou Anania Madrasa, and the prestigious Alqarawiyyin University, which was founded in the 9th century and is an important religious and educational institution. After a day packed with new discoveries, you will be taken to your traditional Riad that is nestled inside the Medina. Here, you will have the opportunity to relax while taking in the atmosphere of this ancient city.
We will leave your Riad in the early morning hours and set off on an adventure towards the Sahara Desert. This trip is sure to be one to remember. Our journey will take us past the gorgeous town of Ifran, which is sometimes referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco." Here, we will pause to soak in the town's natural splendor and snap some shots that will be unforgettable. After that, we will go to Azrou, where we will meet some rambunctious Barbary apes in an enchanted cedar forest. After that, we'll go to Midelt so that we may have a delectable meal at a restaurant in the area.
Our journey will take us via the breathtaking Tizi n'Telghomt pass in the afternoon. This mountain pass is located at an elevation of 1907 meters. Along the route, we will stop at several points to take in the stunning scenery of the Ziz Gorges, which will provide us with many possibilities for photography. Before continuing on our way to Merzouga via Aoufous and Erfoud, we will take a break to take in the breathtaking views of Ziz Valley from a vantage point where we will be able to see out over the whole valley. When we get to Merzouga, we'll get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime event, which will include riding camels for an hour and a half in order to see the breathtaking sunset. As we continue our drive, we eventually arrive to the famous Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site and a well-known vacation spot in the south. Following an informative walking tour and a scrumptious lunch, we will start our journey by car and go across the magnificent High Atlas Mountains via the picturesque Tizi n Tichka pass, which is 2,260 meters in elevation. We are looking forward to arriving in Marrakech in the early evening, when we will be ready to dive headfirst into the exciting culture of this mesmerizing city.
