Day 1: Fes to Chefchaouen
Our journey begins in the morning at 9:00 or 10:00 AM as we leave Fes and head toward the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. On the way, we’ll travel through the scenic Rif Mountains, known for their lush greenery and fertile lands. Along the route, we’ll pass by peaceful lakes and open countryside.
For lunch, we’ll stop at Motel Rif, a popular spot where travelers enjoy delicious meals and a relaxing break. Afterward, we’ll continue our drive through the Rif Mountains until we reach Chefchaouen in the afternoon.
Chefchaouen, also called the "Blue City," is famous for its blue-painted walls, a tradition rooted in both culture and practicality to repel mosquitoes. Upon arrival, you can rest at your hotel or riad. Later, if you’re up for it, take a short walk around the city as the sun sets and enjoy the calming atmosphere. Spend the night in Chefchaouen, preparing for an exciting day ahead.
Day 2: Explore Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we’ll start exploring Chefchaouen’s highlights. First, we’ll visit the iconic Spanish Mosque located on a hilltop overlooking the city. From there, you’ll get breathtaking views of Chefchaouen and the surrounding mountains. This is the perfect spot for taking memorable photos and enjoying a cup of coffee while relaxing.
After a couple of hours at the mosque, we’ll head back down to explore the heart of the city on foot. Wander through its charming streets, discover traditional clothes, colorful hats, handcrafted goods, and local dishes. For lunch, we’ll dine at a traditional restaurant serving authentic Moroccan flavors.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax or continue exploring Chefchaouen at your own pace. Later, return to your hotel for a restful night.
Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fes
On the final day, we’ll start our journey back to Fes. We’ll take the same scenic route through the Rif Mountains, stopping along the way for a coffee break and to stretch if needed.
As we approach Fes, reflect on the wonderful memories made during this 3-day tour. The tour ends with your arrival in Fes, marking the conclusion of a memorable adventure from Fes to Chefchaouen.
