This 10 days tour from casablanca Morocco tour, including 9 nights, starts in Casablanca and takes you to many important and beautiful places. The journey begins in Casablanca, then continues to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. After that, you will visit Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue City, and explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. The tour also includes a visit to Meknes and Fez, which is known as the cultural heart of Morocco. You will then travel to Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco.
From there, the tour heads south to see the beautiful cedar forest, the town of Midelt, the stunning Ziz Valley, and the lively traditional market in Rissani. Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca and Transfer to Rabat
Your 10 days journey begins with your arrival at Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport. Depending on your arrival time, our driver or tour guide will greet you and take you to Casablanca city. There, you'll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and a stunning architectural masterpiece. Afterward, we’ll continue to Rabat, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable accommodation.
Day 2: Exploring Rabat and Traveling to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains
After breakfast, we will explore the highlights of Rabat, including its historic and cultural sites. Then, we’ll travel to Chefchaouen, passing through the beautiful Rif Mountains and the charming village of Ouazzane. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Once in Chefchaouen, the magical "Blue City," you’ll settle into a local riad or hotel for the night.
Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes
In the morning, we leave Chefchaouen and drive to Meknes, one of Morocco's imperial cities. Our journey includes a stop at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, a local guide will explain life during the Roman Empire as you explore the baths, mosaics, and towering columns. Afterward, we’ll tour Meknes, visiting the famous Mansour Gate, the Royal Palace, and Heri es-Swani, a granary and stable built by Sultan Moulay Ismail. After lunch, we’ll continue to Fes, where you’ll stay overnight in a riad or hotel.
Day 4: Sightseeing in Fes
Today, you’ll explore the fascinating city of Fes with a professional local guide. The tour includes stops at the Royal Palace with its golden gates, Borj Nord for panoramic city views, and the ancient medina. You’ll visit the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, the oldest operating university in the world, and the famous Chouara Tannery. After the guided tour, enjoy some free time to wander the vibrant streets before returning to your accommodation.
Day 5: Fes to Merzouga Desert via the Middle Atlas
After breakfast, we depart Fes, traveling through the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll visit Ifrane, known as "Morocco’s Switzerland," and pass through cedar forests, home to Barbary macaques. The journey continues through the Ziz Valley, offering breathtaking views, and we’ll stop in Erfoud, famous for its fossils. In Merzouga, you’ll experience a camel ride across the dunes and watch the sunset before enjoying a magical evening with dinner, music, and an overnight stay in a desert camp.
Day 6: Merzouga Desert Exploration
Today, we’ll explore the wonders of the Merzouga desert. Highlights include visiting the village of Khamlia, where you’ll enjoy traditional Gnaoua music, and exploring Mefis, a historical salt and mascara mine. You’ll meet a local nomadic family and learn about their unique lifestyle. Afterward, we’ll visit Srij Lake and the Merzouga oasis. Lunch will be served in a Berber house, and the day ends with a relaxing evening at your riad or hotel.
Day 7: Merzouga to Dades Valley via Todra Gorge
Begin your day with a spectacular sunrise in the desert before heading toward the Todra Gorge. Along the way, we’ll travel through the rugged landscapes of the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs." At Todra Gorge, you’ll marvel at the towering pink and gray cliffs. After a short walk and a break for photos, we continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay in a local hotel or riad.
Day 8: Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate and the High Atlas Mountains
Our journey continues to Marrakech, stopping first at the Rose Valley and the Skoura Oasis. In Ouarzazate, we’ll visit the famous Atlas Film Studios and the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, we’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, we’ll visit an Argan Oil Cooperative before arriving in Marrakech, where you’ll settle into your accommodation.
Day 9: Marrakech Guided Tour
Today is dedicated to exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech. With a knowledgeable guide, you’ll visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. After lunch, explore the bustling souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, where you’ll encounter snake charmers, storytellers, and local performers. Spend the evening in your accommodation.
Day 10: Departure from Marrakech or Casablanca
Depending on your departure time, we’ll transfer you to the airport in either Marrakech or Casablanca, marking the end of your unforgettable 10-day tour in Morocco.
