Tour Plan
Day 1: Marrakech ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Boumalne
Our 3-day tour begins at 8:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We'll start the journey by crossing the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying views of traditional Berber villages along the way.
Our first stop is the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its appearance in movies like Lawrence of Arabia. After lunch, we'll continue to Ouarzazate, a city known for its large film studio. You'll have the chance to explore this vibrant area before we head to Boumalne, passing through the Valley of Roses. In Boumalne, we'll check into our accommodation and rest for the night.
Day 2: Boumalne ⇢ Tinghir Oasis ⇢ Todgha Canyon ⇢ Merzouga
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Tinghir, where you can enjoy the views of a lush oasis filled with kasbahs and tall palm trees. This is a great opportunity to take photos and soak in the natural beauty. Next, we’ll visit the Todgha Canyon, with its towering walls that rise up to 300 meters. You can take a relaxing walk here and admire the stunning rock formations.
In the afternoon, we’ll head to Merzouga, where your luggage will be transported to the camp by a 4x4 vehicle. Meanwhile, you’ll embark on a camel ride across the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, the dunes glow in shades of orange and red, creating a magical scene.
At night, you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. There will be drumming, storytelling, and stargazing, making this an unforgettable desert experience.
Day 3: Merzouga ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Middle Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Fes
Start your day early to watch the sunrise over the desert—a peaceful and unforgettable moment. After breakfast at the camp, you can choose to leave by camel or a 4x4 vehicle.
As we travel towards Fes, we’ll stop at the Ziz Valley, a scenic area filled with palm trees and small villages. Then, we’ll drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you might spot Barbary Apes in the cedar forests.
Our next stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its unique architecture and cool climate. You can take a break here for a cup of coffee or a quick stroll.
Finally, we’ll arrive in Fes in the evening, where your adventure will come to an end at your accommodation.
