Day 1: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades via Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate
After breakfast, our 8 day tour begins from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We’ll drive through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, where you can enjoy panoramic views of traditional Berber villages and lush valleys.
We’ll visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its role in movies like Gladiator. After exploring the kasbah, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Next, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara and home to movie studios and kasbahs. If time permits, you can visit the studios before heading to Boumalne Dades, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel or riad.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades to Merzouga via Todra Gorge
After breakfast, we’ll drive to the Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with towering red cliffs. Take some time to walk through the gorge and admire its natural beauty.
We’ll stop for lunch along the way before continuing through small towns like Erfoud, famous for its fossils. By the afternoon, we’ll reach Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, camels will be waiting to take you on a ride across the golden sand dunes.
As the sun sets, you can capture amazing photos before arriving at your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and a night under the star-filled sky in the heart of the desert.
Day 3: Merzouga to Fes via Ziz Valley and Cedar Forest
Wake up early to witness the magical desert sunrise before enjoying breakfast. We’ll leave Merzouga and pass through Errachidia and the lush Ziz Valley, a region filled with palm groves and scenic landscapes.
We’ll stop for lunch in Midelt, a town known for its apples, and continue through small towns on the way to Azrou, home to the famous Cedar Forest. Here, you can meet friendly wild monkeys and take some memorable photos.
Before reaching Fes, we’ll stop briefly in Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its European-style architecture and clean streets. Arrive in Fes in the evening and relax in your accommodation.
Day 4: Fes to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we’ll drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the “Blue City.” This charming town is known for its blue-painted streets, vibrant markets, and relaxed atmosphere.
You’ll arrive in the afternoon and have free time to explore the city. Wander through the narrow alleys, visit the main square, and enjoy the unique blend of Moroccan and Andalusian architecture. Spend the night in a cozy riad.
Day 5: Chefchaouen to Tangier via Tetouan
After breakfast, we’ll head to Tangier, passing through the Rif Mountains and the historic city of Tetouan, known as the "White Dove" for its whitewashed buildings. Tetouan is a cultural and historical gem with Andalusian influences.
From Tetouan, we’ll continue to Tangier, a bustling port city that connects Africa and Europe. Visit iconic landmarks like the Kasbah and the Medina. You’ll have free time in the evening to explore the city before spending the night in a comfortable hotel.
Day 6: Tangier to Asilah
After breakfast, we’ll drive along the scenic coastal road to reach Asilah, a charming town on the Atlantic Ocean. Asilah is famous for its whitewashed buildings, colorful murals, and vibrant art scene.
Spend the day exploring its medina, historic walls, and sandy beaches. You can also enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at one of the local restaurants. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the promenade before spending the night in a riad.
Day 7: Asilah to Rabat
We’ll leave Asilah in the morning and drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Along the way, enjoy the coastal scenery and stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
In Rabat, visit landmarks like the Hassan Tower, an incomplete mosque from the 12th century, and the nearby Mausoleum of Mohammed V. You can also explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Spend the night in Rabat.
Day 8: Rabat to Casablanca
On the final day, we’ll drive to Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic hub. Visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa, located right by the Atlantic Ocean.
After exploring Casablanca, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation, marking the end of your 8-day Moroccan adventure.
