Leave Casablanca early and stop briefly in Rabat before continuing north into the Rif. Reach Chefchaouen in the late afternoon and settle in. Save deeper medina exploration for the following morning. Overnight: Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen: local exploration
Spend a full day in and around Chefchaouen. Explore the medina, walk toward Ras El Maa and choose a hillside viewpoint suited to your fitness. Leave room for café stops and artisan workshops; longer hikes can be arranged separately. Overnight: Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen → Casablanca
