    Casablanca β†’ Rabat

    Begin in Casablanca with the Hassan II Mosque waterfront and the city’s broad boulevards. Continue to Rabat for the Kasbah of the Udayas and Hassan Tower area. Stay in the capital, allowing time for both cities without a late-night return. Overnight: Rabat.

    Rabat β†’ Fes

    Leave Rabat for Meknes, pausing around the imperial quarter before continuing to Volubilis. Walk among the archaeological remains with time for the mosaics, then continue to Fes. Site visits follow current opening arrangements. Overnight: Fes.

    Fes: local exploration

    Explore Fes at walking pace with a local guide. Follow the medina lanes between craft workshops, historic courtyards and markets, with a viewpoint over the tanneries. Allow time for lunch and independent browsing; entrances follow current opening arrangements. Overnight: Fes.

    Fes β†’ Merzouga

    Leave Fes early and cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and the cedar-forest region. Continue past Midelt into the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga. This is a full driving day; camp transfers are timed around arrival and seasonal daylight. Overnight: Merzouga.

    Merzouga β†’ Dades Valley

    Leave the dunes after breakfast and travel west through the Tafilalet region. Pause at Todra Gorge for a walk before continuing to Dades. Stay overnight in the valley, breaking the journey toward Marrakech into comfortable stages. Overnight: Dades Valley.

    Dades Valley β†’ Marrakech

    Travel through the Valley of Roses toward Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the earthen ksar before crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech. Expect an evening arrival after a scenic but substantial day on the road. Overnight: Marrakech.

    Marrakech: local exploration

    Explore Marrakech with a local guide, combining medina lanes, artisan quarters and the Koutoubia gardens. Plan a palace or garden visit around your interests and opening times. Leave the late afternoon for a rooftop pause and the atmosphere around Jemaa el-Fnaa. Overnight: Marrakech.

    Marrakech β†’ Casablanca
