Day 2
Merzouga: local exploration
Dedicate a full day to the surroundings of Erg Chebbi. Visit Khamlia for a locally arranged music encounter, explore oasis settlements and pause for tea before returning to Merzouga. Keep the hottest hours unhurried and enjoy the late-afternoon dune light. Overnight: Merzouga.

Day 3
Merzouga β Dades Valley
Leave the dunes after breakfast and travel west through the Tafilalet region. Pause at Todra Gorge for a walk before continuing to Dades. Stay overnight in the valley, breaking the journey toward Marrakech into comfortable stages. Overnight: Dades Valley.

Day 4
Dades Valley β Marrakech
Travel through the Valley of Roses toward Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the earthen ksar before crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech. Expect an evening arrival after a scenic but substantial day on the road. Overnight: Marrakech.

Day 5
Marrakech: local exploration
Explore Marrakech with a local guide, combining medina lanes, artisan quarters and the Koutoubia gardens. Plan a palace or garden visit around your interests and opening times. Leave the late afternoon for a rooftop pause and the atmosphere around Jemaa el-Fnaa. Overnight: Marrakech.

Marrakech β Essaouira
Drive west through argan country to Essaouira. Walk beside the fishing harbour and explore the streets behind the sea walls, with time for a seafood lunch. Stay overnight to enjoy the town after the day visitors leave. Overnight: Essaouira.

Essaouira β Marrakech
Enjoy an easy morning by the Atlantic, with time for ramparts, galleries or a beach walk. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon and finish at your accommodation. This final day balances the coast with a straightforward transfer. Overnight: Marrakech.

Marrakech β Rabat
Travel to Casablanca for a waterfront stop around the Hassan II Mosque. Continue to Rabat for the night. This northbound day connects the red city with Moroccoβs Atlantic urban landscape. Overnight: Rabat.

Rabat β Chefchaouen
Leave Rabat and head north toward the Rif Mountains. Reach Chefchaouen for an afternoon among blue lanes and hillside viewpoints. Spend the night in the town, allowing the journey to unfold without a return drive. Overnight: Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen β Fes
Leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and travel south toward Volubilis. Explore the archaeological site before continuing to Fes for a relaxed arrival. The route connects the Rif with the cultural landscapes of the imperial cities. Your tour ends in Fes.
