Day 1
Marrakech β Dades Valley
Leave Marrakech early and cross the High Atlas by the Tizi nβTichka road. Walk through the earthen lanes of Ait Ben Haddou before continuing past Ouarzazate and the southern oases to Dades. This is a substantial driving day with scenic breaks and an evening arrival. Overnight: Dades Valley.

Day 2
Dades Valley β Merzouga
Follow the valley road toward Tinghir and walk beneath the limestone walls of Todra Gorge. Continue toward Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. Reach the desert camp by camel or vehicle, as agreed when booking, and enjoy dinner beneath the open sky. Overnight: Merzouga.

Day 3
Merzouga β Fes
Watch the early light on Erg Chebbi before a long northbound journey. Travel through the Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas, with rest stops around Midelt and Ifrane as time allows. Arrive in Fes in the evening; the medina visit requires a separate day. Overnight: Fes.

Day 4
Fes: local exploration
Explore Fes at walking pace with a local guide. Follow the medina lanes between craft workshops, historic courtyards and markets, with a viewpoint over the tanneries. Allow time for lunch and independent browsing; entrances follow current opening arrangements. Overnight: Fes.

Day 5
Fes β Chefchaouen
Leave Fes after breakfast and travel north toward the Rif Mountains. Arrive in Chefchaouen with time to explore its blue lanes, small squares and artisan shops. Stay overnight rather than rushing the visit as a roadside stop. Overnight: Chefchaouen.

Day 6
Chefchaouen β Rabat
Enjoy a quiet morning walk in Chefchaouen before driving west to Rabat. On arrival, explore the Kasbah of the Udayas and the Hassan Tower area as time permits. Spend the night in the capital. Overnight: Rabat.

Day 7
Rabat β Marrakech
Travel down the Atlantic corridor to Casablanca for a stop around the Hassan II Mosque esplanade. Continue inland to Marrakech and finish at your accommodation. Interior mosque visits depend on available visiting slots and advance arrangements. Overnight: Marrakech.

Day 8
Marrakech: local exploration
Explore Marrakech with a local guide, combining medina lanes, artisan quarters and the Koutoubia gardens. Plan a palace or garden visit around your interests and opening times. Leave the late afternoon for a rooftop pause and the atmosphere around Jemaa el-Fnaa. Your tour ends in Marrakech.
