Chefchaouen → Fes
Leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and travel south toward Volubilis. Explore the archaeological site before continuing to Fes for a relaxed arrival. The route connects the Rif with the cultural landscapes of the imperial cities. Overnight: Fes.

Day 3
Fes: local exploration
Explore Fes at walking pace with a local guide. Follow the medina lanes between craft workshops, historic courtyards and markets, with a viewpoint over the tanneries. Allow time for lunch and independent browsing; entrances follow current opening arrangements. Overnight: Fes.

Day 4
Fes → Merzouga
Leave Fes early and cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and the cedar-forest region. Continue past Midelt into the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga. This is a full driving day; camp transfers are timed around arrival and seasonal daylight. Overnight: Merzouga.

Day 5
Merzouga: local exploration
Dedicate a full day to the surroundings of Erg Chebbi. Visit Khamlia for a locally arranged music encounter, explore oasis settlements and pause for tea before returning to Merzouga. Keep the hottest hours unhurried and enjoy the late-afternoon dune light. Overnight: Merzouga.

Day 6
Merzouga → Dades Valley
Leave the dunes after breakfast and travel west through the Tafilalet region. Pause at Todra Gorge for a walk before continuing to Dades. Stay overnight in the valley, breaking the journey toward Marrakech into comfortable stages. Overnight: Dades Valley.

Day 7
Dades Valley → Marrakech
Travel through the Valley of Roses toward Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the earthen ksar before crossing the High Atlas to Marrakech. Expect an evening arrival after a scenic but substantial day on the road. Overnight: Marrakech.

Day 8
Marrakech: local exploration
Explore Marrakech with a local guide, combining medina lanes, artisan quarters and the Koutoubia gardens. Plan a palace or garden visit around your interests and opening times. Leave the late afternoon for a rooftop pause and the atmosphere around Jemaa el-Fnaa. Overnight: Marrakech.

Day 9
Marrakech → Essaouira
Drive west through argan country to Essaouira. Walk beside the fishing harbour and explore the streets behind the sea walls, with time for a seafood lunch. Stay overnight to enjoy the town after the day visitors leave. Overnight: Essaouira.

Day 10
Essaouira → Casablanca
Follow the Atlantic north from Essaouira, stopping in Safi and El Jadida’s historic quarter. Continue to Casablanca for the end of the journey. The coastal route adds a different side of Morocco after inland cities and desert landscapes. Your tour ends in Casablanca.
